Now that I'm a stay-at-home-wife I need to chose which morning news show to watch. It is important for me to have good background noise while I work to keep me sane.
The Today Show vs Good Morning America
Im leaning toward Good Morning America because of Diane Sawyer but then again my mom used to watch The Today Show every morning with Al Rocker and Katie Couric... what should I do?
And while we are on that topic... what about my afternoon shows?
ABC vs NBC
I can't decided between spunky Rachel Ray at 3 then at 4, Oprah, an American classic.
or
the insightful Dr. Phil at 3 then at 4 Ellen, the funny lesbian.
hmm... I know there are more important world issues I should be pondering but this one "hits close to home" if you know what I mean!?

Jenna.. when I'm at home during the time I usually switch back and forth between those four afternoon shows. I'm almost always watch Ellen over Oprah.. but sometimes Oprah has a really interesting show on when Ellen has celebrities on that I don't care about. But, Ellen is way better in general. Ellen usually brightens my mood where Oprah has me hooked on how horrible her hair and makeup look. And finally, for the 3oclock shows that I usually don't watch.. I still switch back and forth between the two, about 50/50.
wow.. sorry.
I'm a Today show kinda person. Brian and I watch it every morning when we get ready - love it...so witty...I think that show would help you be witty. :) jk...
ANYHOW...as far as the afternoon goes...I'm always at work...I think I like Ellen the best...you probably should too - cause she dances...
Have a kid and then which TV show you watch won't even be an issue :)
It is all liberal propaganda crap...I think you should listen to either KLOVE or nothing at all and reflect on this Lent season...Jesus would be happier...
The Today Show....by FAR! I had the same dilemma when I became a stay-at-home-mom and after just a few trial days, The Today Show totally out did GMA. Matt is so cute, Meredith is real, Gianna is preggo and then that Asian lady is my fav...totally forgot her name though. Oh yeah, and Al is black...
I regret to inform you, but you are all incorrect...
The Daily Buzz is top dog in the house of W. It's on from 6:00-9:00 AM, very entertaining. It's on the CW (or Channel 11 for us). I have to give Jaimie credit for discovering this one, but I'll vouch for it and give it my seal of approval.
gma. diane sawyer. ann curry drives me nuts (sorry abby). she totally over-sympathizes EVERYTHING! plus chris quomo is hilarious. a dry sens e of humor will get me every time. -- j
GMA, Oprah & Rachel Ray is the lucky combo. Serisouly...
I usually watch GMA & Today Show at the SAME TIME in the morning at the gym...but I have to read fast, so it gets boring and I tune out! Nice...
I have the same problem with Dr. Phil and Rachel. I don't like either. I say, make Ellen two hours from 3-5! yea!
my routine...after i get off of work, around 730 am, i will get home and watch reruns of saved by the bell, so awesome and worth it. then sleep a little and if i am up i will watch the view at 10, which i highly recommend.
afternoon shows....rachel ray is pretty cool, but she is getting pretty annoying. i prefer watching her on the food network channel. and then at 4 definitely ellen, during commercials flip to oprah, but right back to ellen.
one more suggestion at 5 gilmore girls on abc family.
sorry i'm not much help...but i guess i don't watch as much tv anymore. if i do, this is usually my schedule.
