Awesome Surprise

Tuesday afternoon I sat quietly at my computer desk hacking away at the never ending incoming work emails when all of a sudden a beautiful lady started pounding on my office window. After exclaiming a few swear words I realized it was my BOO!



Ruby and Lewis are taking an unscheduled break from the PCT for the next week. They crossed the Oregon border into Washington when Lewis got a bum ticker...

no, just shin splints. As close as they are to the end of the 2700mi adventure this could be the end. They'll have to reevaluate their plan in a week but I think the accomplishments they've made so far are no small peas. I will never in my life hike 2100miles straight! Soooo AWESOME.
